GXED takes on the planning for the power system and the communication design thereof. GXED provided a high quality power system with reasonable structure and reliable operation. At present, the maximum voltage grade in Guangxi’s power grid is 500kV, and the 220kV power grids have formed a main ring by Dahua, Heshan, Laibin and Xijing, etc., which extends to form a multi-ring power system in Guangxi. The whole main power grid covers nearly 80 towns and cities in the 8 regions of Guangxi, supplying electric power to the whole province. Meanwhile, Guangxi power grid has been interconnected with the main power grids in Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangzhou provinces through Tianshengqiao-Guangdong, Yunnan-Guizhou and Tianshengqiao-Lubuge power transmission lines, basically forming a the pattern of ‘west-power-east’.
