the installed capacity of Yantan is 1210MW;more than 80 electric power projects with a total installed capacity of about 13300MW, and it is carrying out the design for some 600MW Qinzhou and Guigang super-critical units; more than 240 power transmission lines and distribution projects with a total line length of more than 10000km, of which line of 500kV is more than 1200km long, and total capacity of power distribution is 10533MVA. GXED’s excellent jobs in this field are justified by the more than 100 medals which are issued by the national, ministerial and provincial authorities for its excellent design and contribution to science and technology progress, of which 21 medals are of national level. Since 1998, it has been short-listed continuously between five years as one of the 100 most powerful institutes in China.
