GXED holds a research sub-institute majoring in project investigation, to which Ministry of Construction has granted Qualification Certificate of Grade A of Comprehensive Category of Project Investigation, Certificate of Grade A of Surveying And Mapping Qualification and other engineering certificates of grade A. Constituted by 14 research departments (teams) of geology, surveying & mapping, substance sounding, boring of projects and 1 repair & spare parts workshop, this sub-institute has rich experiences in survey, design and construction covering the special subjects of karst, soil hole, expansive soil, ground water, quicksand, high side slope, landslide, deep foundation pit, soft soil, granite residual soil, mixture soil. Further more, this sub-institute researches much deeply in the fields of pile foundation design, construction and application. |

Since the first turn-key project in 1997 for Laibin B power plant financed by EDF, France, GXED has not only completed many domestic turn-key projects, but also signed many overseas EPC contracts in Vietnam, Angola, Indonesia, etc. EPC contracting is becoming the key target of GXED in business development. |
